These programs include such services as:
Risk Assessments and Action Plans – A comprehensive,
on-site risk assessment conducted by clinical, operational,
and liability specialists trained to identify liability risk
exposures. The resulting action plan rates each facility in
key areas of liability exposure, and prioritizes actions for
immediate and long-term improvement.
Policy Review and Modification – A technical and legal
review of policies and procedures, with specific suggestions
for changes to reduce potential risk exposures. Directed at
the remediation of risk exposures and the encouragement of
continuous quality improvement, this review includes:
- Technical, legal, and long-term care industry experience
input into the development of protocols and response procedures.
- Access to LTC developed management policies, specifically
aimed at preventing liability claims.
